Points Path is a legitimate flight comparison tool that adds frequent flyer points pricing to Google Flights. The extension includes problematic security practices: CSP with unsafe-eval, message handlers without origin validation, third-party TrueSign anti-bot service integration, and extensive use of analytics (Umami). Cookie permission is used for cross-site session management. While not malicious, the weak security posture and third-party data flows create privacy and security risks.
