Is Malwarebytes Browser Guard safe?

Malwarebytes Browser Guard sends blocked URLs and tab browsing history to Malwarebytes telemetry servers by default.

When the extension blocks a URL, it transmits the blocked URL, its parent URL, and the full navigation history of the current tab to mbgc-c-{version}.telemetry.malwarebytes.com. This telemetry is enabled by default on Chrome because the opt-out setting evaluates to enabled when unset. Each payload also includes a persistent installation token (a UUID tied to the browser) that allows Malwarebytes to correlate records across sessions.
