Is Grammar and Spell Checker - LanguageTool safe?

LanguageTool transmits typed text and webmail recipient details to its own API servers during grammar checks.

When the user enables remote checking, the extension sends the full text of any editable field—including email drafts—to api.languagetool.org on every keystroke. For webmail sites such as Gmail, Yahoo Mail, and Yandex Mail it also collects the recipient's email address and full name from the compose window and includes them in each API request. Remote checking is off by default and requires explicit consent on first install.
