Is Ruraq - AI Email Detector for Outlook safe?
Ruraq - AI Email Detector for Outlook reads the content of every email you view in Outlook Web and sends it to its own backend server.
As you read messages in Outlook Web, the extension automatically extracts the sender's address, subject line, and the first 400 characters of the email body, along with your own signed-in email address, and sends this to the vendor's backend for AI-authorship classification. This happens passively in the background for every message opened, without a per-email action from the user. If you reply to a message the backend flagged as AI-written, the extension also reports that reply back to the same server.
