Our dynamic analysis confirmed that TwiBlocker registers a declarativeNetRequest rule on install that removes the Content-Security-Policy, X-Frame-Options, and Frame-Options response headers from every website you navigate to — not only Twitch. These headers are security controls that websites publish to prevent clickjacking and cross-site script injection. With them stripped, every tab you open in Chrome is left without the protections those sites intended. We queried the active rule set from the extension's service worker and observed the rule applying to github.com, amazon.com, facebook.com, and wikipedia.org.
