How it works
Every managed browser
Each managed browser and profile appears in your dashboard with its extensions, checked against our analysis.
Hourly sync
The inventory refreshes every hour, and very large tenants complete a full pass over a few hours. New devices show up on their own, and ones that stop reporting drop out.
What syncs
We sync
- +Extension IDs installed on each device
- +Extension versions
- +Device identifier (Workspace device ID) and machine name
- +User email address (linked to their device for user attribution)
We don't sync
- -Browsing history or page content
- -Any data outside the extension inventory
The connection also grants Chrome policy access. We use it only to write a block when you block an extension.
Requirements
- Any Google Workspace plan, and an admin who can manage Chrome browsers
- Chrome Enterprise Core (free) with managed profile reporting turned on
