Is AMZ Suggestion Expander safe?

AMZ Suggestion Expander sends license-form names and email addresses to Mailchimp with an API key embedded in its code.

When a user submits the extension's license form, the script reads the first name, last name, and email address fields and posts them to Mailchimp. The same shipped script includes the Mailchimp API key in the request header, so that credential is present in the installed extension files.
