Is 1688 search by image safe?
1688 Search by Image & Image Downloader reads 1688 and Taobao login cookies for its shopping search features.
When you use the ecommerce search flow, the extension asks its background script for cookies on 1688.com and taobao.com, extracts the _m_h5_tk token, and uses it in shopping or image-search API requests. The cookie reads are scoped to those ecommerce domains for the product feature rather than arbitrary websites.
