Is Advanced Search safe?

Advanced Search sets itself as your default search engine and routes every address-bar query to advancedsearches.net.

Once installed, the extension replaces Chrome's default search provider, so every search you type in the address bar is sent to advancedsearches.net with fixed partner tags (s=aspr, vert=private) before results are sourced from Bing. It also forwards each in-progress keystroke to sug.advancedsearches.net for autocomplete suggestions. This search redirection is the extension's stated purpose.
