AI for Chrome rewrites the User-Agent header on Bing and Copilot requests to impersonate Microsoft Edge.
On every request to bing.com and copilot.microsoft.com, the extension replaces the browser's User-Agent string with a hardcoded Microsoft Edge 124 identifier. This tricks Copilot into treating Chrome users as Edge users, bypassing restrictions that Microsoft applies to non-Edge browsers. No user data is collected or sent to any third-party server.
