Is Auto Tab Discard safe?

Auto Tab Discard exposes a real-time form-input indicator on the page window to all scripts on every website visited.

A content script running at document_start on all URLs sets a property called isReceivingFormInput on the shared window object. Any first-party or third-party script on the page can read this property to determine whether the user is actively typing into a form, input field, or content-editable element. No data is sent to external servers; the exposure is entirely within the page context.
