Is AB Download Manager Browser Integration safe?

AB Download Manager Browser Integration forwards request headers and cookies to a locally-running download manager app over plain HTTP.

When a user right-clicks a link and selects 'Download with AB DM', the extension reads all cookies for that URL via chrome.cookies.getAll and sends them, along with the Host and User-Agent headers, to http://localhost:15151/add. The extension also listens to all outgoing web requests using Chrome's extraHeaders flag — which exposes Cookie and Authorization headers normally hidden from extensions — and automatically forwards these headers to the same local endpoint for file-type downloads (zip, exe, mp4, pdf, etc.) when autoCaptureLinks is enabled (the default). Both sendHeaders and autoCaptureLinks default to true.
