Is CrankWheel Screen Sharing safe?

CrankWheel reads contact fields from your open CRM record and sends the screen-shared tab's URL to its own servers.

When you click the injected 'Share with CrankWheel' button on a supported CRM page (HubSpot, Salesforce, Zoho, GoHighLevel and others), the extension scrapes contact and lead fields from the page using a server-supplied set of selectors and forwards them as query parameters to meeting.is. While a tab is being screen-shared, it also sends that tab's URL to the CrankWheel web app for enterprise audit logging and content-filter enforcement. Both behaviors are part of the product's CRM and screen-sharing features, are scoped to the vendor's own services, and the CRM integration only runs after you grant the optional per-CRM site permission.
