Is HEIC Image Viewer safe?

HEIC Image Viewer lets any web page ask the extension to fetch HEIC URLs and receive converted image data.

On every HTTP and HTTPS page, its content script scans image and background-image URLs for .heic or .heif references and sends them for conversion. If the page-context fetch fails, the extension fetches the URL with its broad host permissions and places the converted data URL back into the page, where page scripts can read it.
