Is Linkwarden safe?

Linkwarden transmits every visited URL to the configured Linkwarden server on each tab activation and page load.

On every tab focus change and every completed page load, the extension reads the active tab's URL and sends it as a search query to the Linkwarden server's API endpoint. This query includes the full URL and an API key in the Authorization header. The request fires unconditionally for all URLs, including banking, health, and other sensitive sites.
