Is NeatDownloadManager Extension safe?

NeatDownloadManager Extension forwards detected download links, cookies, and headers to the local NDM app via a loopback WebSocket.

When a download is detected on any website, the extension collects the download URL, associated cookies, and request headers, then sends them to a locally running Neat Download Manager process at ws://127.0.0.1:10007/download. The connection uses an unencrypted WebSocket over the loopback interface. The extension requires broad permissions including access to cookies and network requests across all URLs in order to capture this download metadata.
