Is Browsing Protection by F-Secure safe?

Browsing Protection by F-Secure sends every visited URL and open tab list to a locally-installed F-Secure native host for real-time scanning.

On each navigation event, the extension forwards the page URL, tab ID, and request type to the F-Secure native host application installed on the user's device via chrome.runtime.connectNative. At startup it also collects all currently open tab URLs and sends them as part of an initialization message. Additional features include automatic rejection of cookie-consent dialogs and detection of payment forms on web pages, with consent and scan results also forwarded to the native host.
