Is PhishWall safe?

PhishWall reports every tab URL to a local desktop agent and injects a persistent identifier into requests to Japanese banking sites.

On each tab load, switch, or close, the extension sends the current page URL and tab details to a PhishWall agent running at 127.0.0.1:8888. At startup it retrieves a persistent GUID from the same local agent and injects it—along with version and client identifiers—as custom headers on all outbound requests to a list of over 40 Japanese banking domains.
