Is Showesome Screen Recorder – Record Screen & Camera safe?

Showesome Screen Recorder exposes recording controls to every website through a page message bridge.

Its content script runs on nearly every site and accepts page messages that start, pause, resume, or stop the recording workflow without checking the message origin. Those messages are forwarded to the extension's background and offscreen recorder, which can request screen, camera, or microphone capture and store the recording in extension storage.
