Is Anki Dictionary safe?
Anki Dictionary sends selected lookup words and nearby page context to Wordwise for paid or logged-in lookups.
When you double-click a word, Anki Dictionary reads the selected text and nearby page context from the current site. Paid or logged-in lookups send the word, context, detected context language, and definition language to Wordwise; free English lookups send the word to AnkiWords and log the word with Wordwise.

Where it sends data
Destinations our analysis observed Anki Dictionary contacting. Sending data somewhere is not a finding on its own - an extension that syncs your settings has to talk to its own server - but it is where your data can go, and who else it goes to.
