Is Better Lyrics (Lyrics for YouTube Music) safe?

Better Lyrics for YouTube Music sends the song you're playing (title, artist, album, video ID) to several third-party lyrics services to fetch matching lyrics.

On music.youtube.com the extension reads your now-playing track and queries lyric providers including boidu.dev, lrclib.net, and a separately-operated backend at lyrics.api.dacubeking.com, which it authenticates to with a stored token after solving a Cloudflare Turnstile challenge. If you turn on lyric translation or romanization, it also sends the raw lyric text to Google's translate endpoint. All of this runs only on YouTube Music and is part of the extension's core lyrics feature.
