Is Contact Saver for WhatsApp - Export & Backup safe?

Contact Saver for WhatsApp reads every contact, group member, and label from WhatsApp Web and exports the dataset to a local CSV/XLSX file.

On WhatsApp Web the extension injects a script that walks WhatsApp's internal contact, chat, group, and label stores and builds a record for each contact and group participant — phone number, country, saved/public names, and business/admin/blocked flags — including people you have not saved who simply share a group with you. The collected dataset is passed to the extension's popup and written out as a CSV or XLSX file on your device. The script runs only on whatsapp.com and the export stays local; no transmission to a remote server was observed in the code.
