Is Download YouTube Kids for PC, Mac And Windows safe?
Download YouTube Kids for PC, Mac And Windows uses a hardcoded default lock password and stores it locally.
On first install, the extension initializes its parental-control lock with the default password "12345" in extension-local storage. The popup checks unlock attempts against that stored value and displays the current password after unlock, weakening the lock feature without sending the password to an external recipient.
