Is EC Assist safe?

EC Assist captures form input values and full page HTML from monitored tabs to validate Google Enhanced Conversions.

When a tab is placed under monitoring, the extension injects scripts into every frame on the page to listen for input field changes and capture the full page HTML. It scans collected values for email addresses and phone numbers, storing matches locally in its Redux store for display in the side panel. The extension also accepts messages from any web page loaded in the monitored tab due to a broad externally_connectable configuration.
