Is 360 Internet Protection safe?

360 Internet Protection transmits tab URLs, page titles, and HTTP status codes to a locally installed native app on every navigation.

The extension registers listeners for tab creation, update, activation, and web navigation events, forwarding browsing history data to the native host com.google.chrome.wdwedpro on each navigation. It also injects a helper object into pages and relays page-originated messages to the same native host without validating the originating page's domain. Both data flows are directed to software installed locally on the user's machine, not to a remote server.
