Is Metric Cooking safe?

This extension annotates US cooking measurements with metric equivalents on recipe pages.

When you press its button, it adds metric conversions next to US cooking units such as cups, tablespoons, sticks of butter, inches, quarts, ounces, pounds, and Fahrenheit temperatures. It also tries to convert some volume measurements into weights so you can use a kitchen scale.
