Is Okta Browser Plugin safe?

Okta Browser Plugin sends analytics telemetry to third-party services, gated behind org settings and user consent.

The extension collects user interaction data and sends it to Pendo (app.pendo.io) and Amplitude (api.eu.amplitude.com). Pendo receives enterprise user identifiers, browser metadata, and app-launch events when org-level tracking is enabled and consent has been given. Amplitude receives email addresses and user IDs for Okta Personal accounts, also subject to consent checks.
