Is PrimeRole safe?

PrimeRole reads your LinkedIn session cookie to query LinkedIn's Voyager API and sends harvested profile data to its own servers.

When you browse LinkedIn, PrimeRole reads the HttpOnly li_at session cookie and JSESSIONID via chrome.cookies and uses them to make authenticated calls to LinkedIn's internal Voyager API, collecting profile details, work history, skills and company information beyond what is shown on the page. The enriched contact and organization records (full name, job title, work experience, location, profile photo, company) are then POSTed to api.primerole.com and nucleus.primerole.com. A separate 'smart reply' feature sends the text and author of LinkedIn posts to api.primerole.com to generate AI comment drafts. These data-collection behaviors are the extension's stated sales-intelligence function.
