Is Sign Search safe?
Sign Search sends selected or typed search terms through a Heroku CORS proxy to sign-language search sites.
When the popup opens, Sign Search reads the current page selection and places it in the search box. Pressing Go lowercases that text and requests Lifeprint, SpreadTheSign, SigningSavvy, and Smart Sign Dictionary URLs through peaceful-stream-10554.herokuapp.com, putting the search term in those request URLs.

Where it sends data
Destinations our analysis observed Sign Search contacting. Sending data somewhere is not a finding on its own - an extension that syncs your settings has to talk to its own server - but it is where your data can go, and who else it goes to.
