Is Slice New Tab - Customize, Monetize, Earn safe?

Slice New Tab fetches server-controlled redirect rules from api.addslice.com and applies them to browsing traffic when the '<all_urls>' permission is granted.

Every five minutes, the extension polls api.addslice.com/v1/void/rules and installs the returned JSON as declarativeNetRequest dynamic rules, which can redirect or rewrite any page navigation or stylesheet load to an arbitrary URL. Separately, every thirty minutes it contacts addslice.com/api/push to retrieve push notification content; when the user clicks the notification, the extension opens the server-supplied URL in a new tab without validation. Both behaviors are active only while the user holds the optional '<all_urls>' permission.
