Sports Tab is rated clean, though our review noted the following. When the Sports Tab weather widget uses your location, the extension stores geolocation data and sends precise latitude and longitude to OpenWeatherMap's weather API. This request goes to api.openweathermap.org so the widget can refresh weather data. When you open Sports Tab's new-tab page, the extension displays a top-sites widget from your browsing history. For each entry, it builds a Google favicon request that includes the visited site's hostname, sending browsing-history URL context to www.google.com/s2/favicons.
