Is Task Manager Tab & Custom Web Search safe?

Task Manager Tab & Custom Web Search sends geolocation data to its servers and redirects searches through a Yahoo affiliate URL.

When a user accepts the PII opt-in, the extension POSTs to taskmanagertab.com to retrieve city, country, and coordinates derived from the user's IP address, then sends those coordinates to weather and timezone endpoints. Search queries entered on the new-tab page are forwarded to Yahoo via a partner-tagged URL that attributes the search to the publisher.
