Is USAuction safe?

Low risk

USAuction receives shared Copart and IAAI account logins from its server and signs in with a spoofed Kyiv location.

The extension posts the user's extension login to usauctioncar.online and receives encrypted Copart and IAAI credentials. It decrypts them in a WASM module and submits them to the auction sites' login endpoints with a hardcoded Kyiv, Ukraine login location. On those sites it hides the real account identity in the page and sends bid details (VIN, lot, bid amount, vehicle name) to the vendor's server. The popup can also disable other installed extensions that hold the proxy permission when the user clicks a button.

Where it sends data

Destinations our analysis observed USAuction contacting. Sending data somewhere is not a finding on its own - an extension that syncs your settings has to talk to its own server - but it is where your data can go, and who else it goes to.
