Is WA Web Translate - Real-time Message Translate & Audio to Text safe?

Low risk

WA Web Translate embeds your WhatsApp phone number in its uninstall URL and in telemetry sent to its vendor's servers.

The extension reads your WhatsApp phone number from web.whatsapp.com and includes it, with install time and a user ID, in usage events sent to an Alibaba Cloud log service. It also places the number in the uninstall feedback URL that opens on wadesk.io when the extension is removed. Translated message text is sent to Volcengine, Google and Microsoft translation services.

Shared hosts - 4 hostnames

Hostnames hardcoded in this extension that few other listings call. That can mean one operator behind both, and it can equally mean a small shared vendor, so it is context rather than a conclusion. Hosts that many listings call are left out: they are services, not connections.
