Weather refreshes automatic location data for forecasts and tries several geolocation providers when browser geolocation is unavailable or fails. As a final fallback, it requests http://ip-api.com/json over cleartext HTTP, which lets ip-api.com receive the user's IP address and returns city and latitude/longitude for weather lookup.
