Is Accent Letters safe?

This extension provides a one-click keyboard for copying and composing accented letters.

It lets you click common accented letters such as cedilla, diaeresis or umlaut, circumflex, grave accent, and tilde characters. Selected letters are copied to the clipboard and inserted into a text area, with controls for capital or lowercase letters and a backspace button.
