On every AliExpress product or cart page load, the extension checks a server it controls at aliinvoice.app for an affiliate ID and an on/off switch. When enabled, it silently redirects the tab through an s.click.aliexpress.com affiliate deep link before the page loads, so the vendor earns a commission on the user's browsing without any visible change to the page. The vendor can turn this on or off, or swap the affiliate ID, for any user at any time without an extension update.
