Is Better Tab: Speed Dial, RSS Reader, To-do and more safe?

Low risk

Better Tab redirects AliExpress and other shop navigations through its affiliate links, replacing other publishers' tags.

The background script watches page navigations and, for AliExpress and some regional retailers, swaps the URL for the vendor's affiliate link or rewrites another affiliate's tag to its own. It also downloads a redirect rule list from bettertab.app every 12 hours that can send any matching URL elsewhere. The shipped default list is a placeholder.

Part of this rating comes from analysis signals we haven't published as detailed findings yet.
