Is BookBeam: Extension safe?

BookBeam: Extension scrapes Amazon and Audible book metadata on every page visit and transmits it to app.bookbeam.io.

When visiting Amazon or Audible pages, the extension extracts book data including ASIN, title, price, ratings, author, publisher, and sales rank, then sends it to BookBeam's servers. Scraping rules and configuration are fetched from bookbeam.io at startup, giving the backend control over which page elements are targeted and how aggressively pages are fetched. The extension also writes its runtime ID to the page DOM, which any co-located script on Amazon domains can read and use to send messages to the extension's external message handler.
