Is Bookmark tags safe?

Adds tag-based organization and search to the browser’s built-in bookmarks.

This extension lets you add tags to bookmarks and search by tag, folder, title, or URL words. It also supports bulk actions such as opening bookmarks, moving them to a folder, adding or removing tags, finding potential duplicates, and viewing all used tags. Tags are stored as part of the bookmark title in the browser’s default bookmark storage.
