Is Camera Picture In Picture (PIP Overlay) safe?

Clean risk

Shows your webcam video as a picture-in-picture overlay on top of other windows.

This extension lets you choose a camera and resolution, then open the webcam feed in picture-in-picture mode. It provides controls for the overlay’s position and size and can apply additional effects, according to the store description. The description says it operates locally in the browser and does not collect or store user data.
