Is Clutter Free - Prevent duplicate tabs safe?

Clutter Free prevents duplicate tabs and transmits user IP addresses to geoplugin.net over unencrypted HTTP when the premium page is opened.

The extension monitors open tabs and closes or redirects duplicates based on user-configured rules. When a non-subscriber opens the premium options page, it calls a currency-detection API at geoplugin.net using plain HTTP, transmitting the user's IP address without TLS protection. A second geolocation lookup is also made to json.geoiplookup.io over HTTPS.
