Is Custom Cursor & Cursor Trails safe?

Customizes the mouse cursor with selectable icons, animated trails, and click effects on websites.

This extension lets users choose ready-made cursor styles or upload a cursor file, then add animated trails such as particles, tails, or glowing streaks. It also includes click effects like ripples, highlights, and pulses, with settings for trail density, update interval, easing, intensity, and size. The store description says settings are stored locally and no data collection occurs.
