Is Discord VPN | Расширение для браузера – надежный доступ к Discord safe?

Medium risk

Discord VPN routes Discord and non-Discord account and payment domains through extension-configured proxy servers.

When enabled, Discord VPN installs a PAC proxy script that matches hostnames by substring and sends matching requests through hardcoded or remotely fetched proxy servers. The routed list includes Discord domains plus payment and account services such as Stripe, PayPal, Cash App, Google, Reddit, Twitch, YouTube, and Telegram, with proxy credentials supplied for matching requests.

Shared hosts - 3 hostnames

Hostnames hardcoded in this extension that few other listings call. That can mean one operator behind both, and it can equally mean a small shared vendor, so it is context rather than a conclusion. Hosts that many listings call are left out: they are services, not connections.

Destinations our analysis observed Discord VPN | Расширение для браузера – надежный доступ к Discord contacting. Sending data somewhere is not a finding on its own - an extension that syncs your settings has to talk to its own server - but it is where your data can go, and who else it goes to.
