Is Drive Template Gallery safe?
Adds a Google Drive Create-menu link for opening the Google Docs Template Gallery.
This extension connects with Google Drive so users can access the Google Apps Template Gallery from the Drive “Create” menu. It helps start documents, spreadsheets, presentations, and forms from available templates such as resumes, invoices, and cards. The description says first use asks for Google account identity and email-address access to choose the correct Template Gallery URL for the account type.

Where it sends data
Destinations our analysis observed Drive Template Gallery contacting. Sending data somewhere is not a finding on its own - an extension that syncs your settings has to talk to its own server - but it is where your data can go, and who else it goes to.
