Is GemFold – Gemini Folders & Chat Organizer safe?

GemFold renders saved Gemini folder and chat links into the active page when its toolbar button injects the sidebar.

After the user clicks the toolbar icon, the extension can inject its sidebar into the current non-browser page, not only Gemini. The sidebar reads saved folder names, chat titles, and Gemini chat URLs from Chrome storage and inserts them as page DOM text and links, which scripts on that page can read.
