Q: Is Link Cleaner safe?

Link Cleaner is rated clean - our review surfaced no unexpected behaviour.

Clean risk

Cleans links by removing tracking parameters and redirect wrappers before navigation.

This extension changes URLs such as utm_* links, Amazon item URLs, and Facebook or Reddit redirect links into cleaner direct links. Its permissions allow it to inspect and block web requests across all sites so it can rewrite matching URLs as you browse.
