Malwarebytes Browser Guard sends blocked URL details and referrer chains to Malwarebytes telemetry servers when threats are detected.

When the extension blocks a malware, scam, or phishing request, it transmits the blocked URL, the initiating page URL, and recent navigation history for that tab to a Malwarebytes telemetry endpoint. Additional features — a Google account security scanner and a clipboard-based shell injection detector — process data locally and do not transmit it externally. The extension provides web protection by intercepting network requests and matching them against threat categories.
