Is Norton AntiTrack safe?

Norton AntiTrack blocks tracker network requests on every page and captures login form credentials for its built-in password manager.

The extension injects scripts into all web pages to intercept fetch and XMLHttpRequest calls, suppressing cross-site credentials to trackers from a bundled list of 2,800+ domains. A content script parses login forms using Norton's WAX SDK and syncs captured usernames and passwords to Norton's AWS backend via Cognito-authenticated API calls — this is the extension's password manager feature. UI interaction telemetry including browser name, OS, login status, and a persistent device UUID is sent to stats.norton.com and Google Analytics, and the extension communicates with the locally installed Norton AntiTrack desktop app via native messaging.
