Is Plasma Integration safe?

Plasma Integration sends tab metadata, browsing history, and media playback data to a local KDE native host on the same machine.

The extension connects the browser to the KDE Plasma desktop environment via a native messaging host (org.kde.plasma.browser_integration) running locally. When requested by that host, it shares open tab URLs, titles, and favicons through the tabs runner feature, and returns browser history search results through the history runner. Media playback state—including page URL, title, and artwork—is forwarded to the local MPRIS integration so Plasma's media controls can reflect what is playing in the browser.
